The FTTH process flow involves planning and design, followed by the installation of the fiber network from the central office to the customer’s home. The network is built with backbone cables, distribution points, and individual drop cables. Finally, the service is activated and tested to ensure the customer’s devices can receive high-speed internet via the optical network terminal (ONT) and a router.
